Bottom - Mindless Violence
A new DVD is going to be released on the 22nd November to celebrate 25 years of Rik and Ade working together ....
For 25 years, Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmondson have been kicking the s**t out of each other: on TV, on tape and on stage. This is a definitive anthology of those eye-watering moments: 25 years of thwacking, headbutting and gouging, bottling, brick lobbing, attempted dentistry with spades, setting each other on fire, and removing vital organs with ordinary household objects.
Every single gouge, punch and belt, not only from the three TV series of Bottom and the five Bottom Live videos, but also from The Young Ones, Filthy Rich & Catflap, The Dangerous Brothers and The Comic Strip Presents... the meat hooks up the nose, the thong removal with an oxyacetylene torch, the blazing farts after eating "The Sprouts of Doom", Vyvyan kicking his head down the railway track, the Towering Inferno impression that went wrong and more...

The Filthy, Rich and Catflap series was re-released on the 26th July.
Bad News Album Re-release
The Bad News Album was re-released on the 9th August.
Bottom - Second Series DVD
The Second Series of Bottom on DVD was released on the 30th August.

Filthy, Rich and Catflap Re-release
The Filthy, Rich and Catflap series is to be re-released on Video (VHS) and also DVD on the 8th June. I’m told that due to copyright issues, they are edited slightly.
Bottom - Second Series DVD
The Second Series of Bottom comes out on DVD in August. No further details on it at the moment.

It looks at the Alternative Comedy shows that Rik and Ade were involved in like The Young Ones, Comic Strip Presents, Bottom, Boom Boom... Out Go the Lights and many more. Website Updates
Just a few amendments to the site, nothing major. Rik and Ade news is quiet at the moment now they’ve finished the tour, plus the rumours that Rik and Ade aren’t going to work (or tour) together again for a while (according to the various Ade interviews - see my Ade website for more details).
